@jan_murray@labourlewis Only biological women can and do give birth to babies. There is no such thing as 'birthing people', only women. Most women, and those of us whose work is very centred around birth trauma/medical maternity scandals find this erasure of women extremely offensive.
The Scottish Court of Session has just ruled that providing multi-user unisex toilets in a primary school amounted to indirect sex discrimination against female pupils.

@cityoflondon No surprise at all to someone who grew up in the City and some of its sexist institutions - historically deeply-embedded misogyny clearly takes centuries to overturn.
We are pleased to see this statement from @SlandMinster
It seems Canon Clare MacLaren overstepped & put Sunderland Minster in a legally untenable position.
Hopefully she will take some time to educate herself to ensure she doesn't become a liability again.
We hope that by stating they will "respect the rule of law" that they now provide women's lavatories free of men.
@fem_mb@ClawToTheCore Was it that he tried to get his poor long-suffering wife committed to an asylum? No, that’ll be fine with the blinkered museums crew.
There are vulnerable women in Scottish jails who’ve been forced to share space with male rapists because @NicolaSturgeon (& co) gifted those men the ability to ‘SelfID’ as ‘women’.
Now *THAT* is an injustice

Living in a luxury house in London and sipping champagne on the book festival circuit is about as far away from serving a prison sentence as I can imagine. It’s worth remembering that thanks to Nicola Sturgeon vulnerable women in Scottish prisons are banged up with violent men.
Magnificently, every single comment mentioning Leask's dismissal of the story when Wings broke it (and there were quite a few) has been deleted from this page, as have all of my replies to them. https://t.co/AptWNGoQEj
@norwich_s@roorooyes4 The two biggest unverifiable references MPs make is to “their postbag” and “the doorstep”. Both shorthand for: “I’m lying”.
I do have direct evidence that they fail to read letters and emails- even on non-contentious matters - and jump to conclusions. We pay them to read.
@SusanDa31116726@norwich_s@roorooyes4 Being a good constituency MP means actually caring about the various plights of your constituents. Good to know there are still some about.
