@fredsoda To be at the top level of any profession requires discipline & hard work, but those are genetic traits. If you're in the top 0.1% in the world at a skill, as all pro athletes in all sports are, it's 99.9% about having the correct genetic traits. Which is just a numbers game.

If so, a potential penalty for that was postponed 1 year following an established protocol. During the process apparently one input was a politician's call. So who's crying?

@Microinteracti1 Crying & "play-acting" is actually the soccer way! Players deserve oscars for writhing around pretending to be injured.
Why do they do it? Because penalties are too harsh and give huge advantages to the opposition.
