Reece James was poor against Arsenal in a new system without Caicedo, yes. But what I’m seeing on this platform goes way beyond criticism for one game.

Even without Conference League it’s about the same win ratio. Over a season, 69 points.

We’ve won over 50% of games he has played in midfield and only lost about 30%. He has usually played with Caicedo. Who is injured right now.

He was part of the midfield for all our best performances and wins for about 15 months. PSG, Liverpool, Barcelona, Villa, City and Arsenal, all last season.

He’s learning a new system and doing it without Caicedo, of course there’s adjustments, it’s a different way of playing. Give him a break.

There is no loyalty or respect for your own, anymore. Writing Reece off because of one poor game is embarrassing. This is when he needs your support. He is a CL winner and our captain, one of our own. Who has always been loyal.

To real fans this means something. And you don’t get to judge my fandom when I’ve been following this club for 40 years.

@TheScore01 At any point all three would be nice core and first XI options when there are multiple games - all can have interchangeable roles/uses in the team except Scott being lone sitter, which other two can. Any other profiles are extra toppings over these three.

How does manager being flexible works if your at least one of CM/WB always can't man mark + has no ability to scan before passing?
