@MTechnicals@upstox Hi, I follow the instruction from here: https://t.co/vPrJRiZrbx. Everything run very smoothly. However, the bash script for launching the distro did not work. Would you please suggest me the direction to fix it. Many thanks. Sandro
@f2harrell I started using the data.table R package to save the big data. fwrite() and fread() save and read big data quickly. In fact, it transforms data in one line of code in most of the cases. Many thanks to Professor Frank Harrell for writing up data.table, Hmisc, rms...
In these days, almost all disciplines use quantitative methods to a different extent. All computational devices come with AI. Are we all data scientists? Or do we need a new definition of data scientist?
@trishgreenhalgh Sorry for the lost. The lesson here is that we ignored that epidemic can emerge any time. Airborne infection epidemics are more frightening. Our ability in predicting the emergencies is far from perfect.
Here is my first commentary published in JAMA. I reckoned that there were loads of grammatical mistakes... I felt a shame to post it. I think I should not feel that way. My health status was very bad at that time. I do it to check my mental status. https://t.co/PhzcY72E1e

@EdSeymore@EMPosts@JosephEStiglitz Yes, it hurts everyone, but the well-off more. They also did not rule out complementarily implementing other policies. I bet we are in a stagflation (or a more complex situation). This time, all unfavourable events happen at the same time. It is an unprecedented situation.
@rfheller @TobyWalsh I agree with Professor Walsh that we should put more effort in developing machine ethics. We have to do it fast before computers that can code become easily accessible to general public. Thanks Professor Heller for tweeting about this book.
I went to the immigration department without knowing that I would be given a language test. Thank God. I passed the exam to get me a resident permit of France. Perhaps I am not that bad with language given that I largely learn French through using the…https://t.co/BJYXvSOox5
