The problem is Hank will never fire, Cash and Cash will never fire Boone, they have a “great” relationship. This is an organizational issue that’ll never be addressed. We can tell Hank to “sell” the team; “fire” Cashman and “fire” Boone, but we all know that’s not happening in the near future. As long as Yankees are making a huge profit, I wouldn’t count on any of this to happen unfortunately!
@rmny1976 Cabby should be your everyday SS. If you have to make him a utility player in the OF, then there’s something wrong with the way they use their players.
The best part about this is, “The best team in baseball in June, by a decent margin, is the Miami Marlins. They're about to go 20-6, have outscored opponents 129-78 this month and have the lowest CBT payroll in MLB. The Marlins' third-highest-paid player is Giancarlo Stanton, who last played for them in 2017.” -@JeffPassan
@GarysheffieldJr Don’t worry, Cash will say; “oh, but we’re getting our injured players back and it’s like we just got a great FA signings” to replenish our lineup. This team is horrible and needs to be blown up from top to bottom.
@themessychef30 “32% in playoffs” 😂 Yeah in an era where teams barely shot 3s and defense was physical as hell. Bird still went 40%+ in his prime on rising volume and won 3 straight 3PT contests (one in a warmup jacket).
Dale Ellis was a specialist shooter, Bird was a superstar doing it all. Contest aura > cherry-picked playoff % from the 80s. Stay drooling over Ellis
@BlockedByBam_@ThatFresh_Aroma@VinnysCorner1@BlockedByBam_ “He never shot more than 3 3s a game” 😂 Bro the entire league barely shot 3s back then. Bird still went 37.6% and won 3 straight 3PT contests — one in his warmup jacket asking “who’s coming in second?”
KD in a 3PT spam era still can’t touch that. Stay casual.
