@LouStagner DivotPro (iOS only app) calculates anticap using all the unused 12. It also calculates ‘fours’. The 9 to 12 four is a good average to monitor as the better it is the more resistant to upward movement the index is.
The right wing media is queuing up to present CPTPP membership as a “Brexit prize”
Rishi Sunak’s government predicted it would grow the economy by a tiny 0.08% (it later emerged that even that may be an overestimate) and that was after 15 years of membership!
Contrast that tiny predicted benefit with the OBR having just confirmed a 4% reduction in the UK’s potential GDP is still their assumption regarding the long-run impact of Brexit
Whatever the benefits of being part of the CPTPP, they can never come close to the benefits to the UK economy of being part of the single market
@emirates @airvistara missed connection in Dubai on Thursday. Got to Mauritius via Mumbai. Arrived 24 hours ago. Golf clubs are still in Mumbai. No info as to when they might arrive. Please advise.
If UK news shows are going to give Boris Johnson a platform to spout his absolute boll**** about Brexit & the vaccine rollout (unchallenged) I’ll happily come back every week to correct it
We cannot allow those once in power to rewrite history.
If you agree RT this FACT CHECK
@British_Airways failure tonight. Plane faulty but we weren’t told until no hotels and no alternative than stay in Mauritius airport. Thrown out of business class lounge by police. Could have eaten there earlier but not once plane cancelled. Very hungry. Everything shut. No sleep
@premierinn I am never staying again. You website changes date back to current date and even though I spoke to hotel and they cancelled the booking within 1 hour you charged me later for the cancelled booking.
The booking for the correct date (a week later) was charged first.
@afneil So if China join then that number is much bigger. Doesn’t make it any better for us. What a silly stat.. Just adding up gdp of member countries. Trade on our doorstep would be much bigger impact.
