88 yrs old. When I was in school, we had, perhaps, one student I would recall as probably trans. He did not know it, and we did not either. Mixed emotions. I like Musk. He may be the smartest man around, but without FTL there really is no interplanetary vision ahead for us. Most of us would not like living in an enclosed environment with the continual worry about failure of the life support system. There is no inhabitable, without life support, planet within reasonable distance of Earth, without FTL.

Our judicial selection/retention policies in America are inadequate. Electing judges is not the answer, as hardly ANY voter even knows anything about the judges on the ticket----they just vote by party. A better system might be to have a review process of bad decisions by every judge. IE, if they turn loose a person who later murders someone, or later commits more robberies/assaults, etc, there should be review process to decide if that judge should be removed and never allowed to judge again. Maybe the trigger should be 1 for murders, 3 for robberies/assaults, or some such?
