@IDlSSEVERYTHING assuming you're coming from Windows it's important to know that on macOS, windows are a thing an app _has_ while on Windows, windows _are_ the app. closing all windows on macOS won't necessarily quit the app, but it does in some cases. ⌘Q is your friend

when you define auto layout constraints this is what you are doing, and the engine "solves" for the variables. unfortunately it's possible for there to be ambiguity
