By the way, if Brock Glenn starts (and don't read anything into that -- I have no inside info on this) and FSU were to somehow win, it would make it virtually impossible to argue that FSU is not playoff-worthy. Clearly this would be a complete team, not reliant on one player.
I think, when you get the ball second, you should always go for 2 if you score to get within 1 point in the first OT. When you kick the PAT you are now at the disadvantage of going first in OT No. 2.
NEW: Miami announced today that the Hurricanes, who are No. 1 in the nation for the first time since 2002, will wear 2001 replica jerseys against Pitt on Saturday to honor the 2001 team's 25th anniversary.

NEW: Wake Forest and Jake Dickert are 6-1, and he tells @PeteNakos that financial limitations are no excuse:
"The new revenue share has given all coaches excuses. And if it doesn’t work, (you hear), ‘It’s not me. It’s not something I did. It’s not my —’ I just don’t believe them. I don’t believe in that. We know what we have. We’ve got to leverage every cent and resource that we possibly can, and there’s going to be a tremendous amount of sacrifice by everybody. Period."

Steve Witkoff to Putin:
You talk so much about my president, President Trump, being a humanitarian.
You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that, I commend you, and I thank you again.
Couple of things that upset me about this
A) it’s not holding. He chops his arm down and he lost his balance
B) this is very important. Holding is only supposed to be called if it could effect the play. The DE is double teamed and the ball is gone at the time of the “holding”. He’s nowhere near the QB.
Just an all time bad call. It’s an official looking to be part of the game.
I would have gone for it the first time and kicked it the second. I would have DEFINITELY kicked against Louisville.
But let’s not pretend like these were no-brainer decisions and that, if FSU kicked, that the game would have played out the same.
Three things can all be true:
1) you are proud of the effort and performance by FSU
2) despite that, you are not satisfied with a loss (even one that is the product of corruption)
3) despite THOSE things, you still believe it’s time for leadership changes.
