Hey folks! My homie AK and I dropped an album today. If you like dope hip-hop with banging drums, soulful sample chops, and clever rhymes then you might dig it. If you like all of those things and you *also* like '90s basketball and video game references then you definitely will.
A snippet from the new SOBs album. This one has myself and @shark_the_sob describing our underground philosophies over production and scratches by El Double
This joint was just named the top new song of the month on Bass Hit Radio by @malcolmriddle and the legendary @mrchuckd
@UltraMagnusMC is playing two back-to-back release parties. On Sept 20 he's playing the double release party for @JohnKhanTheDon & @Skizza306 and on Sept 21 he's playing the release party for Es & @shark_the_sob. The latter also features @_Adam_Bomb_! Both shows are early!
It brings me a shitwhack of pride and joy to celebrate the arrival of this great boom bap album, on five songs on which I’m featured. Also involved are great talents such as @HGMonsterEs, @MarkJordanMusic, and my very dearly beloved friend @Skizza306!

@Wrestlingwclass@davemeltzerWON Lots of super entertaining matches on the card IMO but I 100% agree with that being MOTN. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Now here this! Every song was delivered to @MrChuckD - All checked, approved and uploaded on our network. Your time and work doesn’t go unnoticed. We see you and hear you. SEPT TOP10 Chart is in rotation and in full E F F E C T. Who Got Next? -m
New music out from AK and myself. Featuring @BexMusicOffish and B1 the Architect.
Feel-good hip-hop, perfect for the summertime!
Find it on all major platforms
@GriiffinNoel Facts! Imagine if people applied this same "logic" to other styles of story-telling? Like you're watching Breaking Bad and they stop the story for three minutes to exposition-dump exactly who Gus Fring is when he first appears.
"Show, don't tell" is an adage for a reason.
@JamesPiercey11 I feel like '93-'94 is great proof-of-concept for prime Pip. 1st team All NBA, third in MVP voting, led a 55-win team in almost every major stat while playing great defense. I think if Pip played his entire prime as "the man" he makes a bunch of 1st teams, possibly an MVP even.
Walton Goggins is the greatest character actor of his generation.
Usually these kinds of posts end with a "change my mind" but I wouldn't want to imply that this is a stance that can possibly be changed.
@iamjondraper Hard disagree, personally. "Introduction" vignette packages or interview segments have always felt insanely hacky to me. "Introduce" me to the character by letting them show me what they're actually there to do. Exposition dumps are never interesting in any storytelling medium.
@thisiselmattic Here we go! https://t.co/iLWwePShvw! It’s definitely my best work to date, and I’m very proud of it.
Then, in a few months, I’ll be dropping a duo album with my man @Skizza306, featuring Pacewon, Young Zee, El Da Sensei, and Big Mike! You’ll get a link to that when it’s ready!
I always feel awful for the elves. You took the job 80 years ago to make some whimsical rocking horses, 4 parts tops. And now you're soldering an iPad motherboard with your arthritic, cinnamon-scented hands. A brutal gig.
@BexMusicOffish Those kinds of folks always think they should be judged by their words instead of their actual behaviour. "We love you" - "then maybe you should actually treat me like you do?"
