It is widely known that Sekmai is recognized as Manipur’s liquor/drugs capital. However, that does not necessarily mean you can do whatever you want after drinking or expose who you are, your community’s standards, and your attitudes.

The Manipur government must apprehend the perpetrators and prosecute them in accordance with the law without delay.

We urge all individuals to refrain from conduct in public that reflects poorly on their community’s standards and upbringing.

Such behavior should be confined to private spaces and not brought into the public domain.

After capturing the MFN Interim Bantamweight World Title, Manipur's MMA athlete Chungreng Koren addressed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the state's plight.
Chungreng Koren stated from the ring, "Modi ji, violence has been going on in Manipur for almost a year, people are dying every day, and many are in relief camps.".
Koren stated, "There is a lack of food and water in relief camps, children are unable to study properly, and we are very concerned about the future..."Modi ji, please visit Manipur at least once because the state would need peace sooner rather than later.

Burning a mother and her 7yr old child and a friend inside an ambulance-The barbarity India is witnessing now in Manipur had not witnessed since 2002 Gujarat!

Look at the father I can clearly feel the anguish in his voice, after all the trauma and tragedy he’s gone through. Till today God almighty gives him the strength to express his agony to the world. Invariably painful, unstoppable tears, irreplaceable loss, unforgettable events. This pain is just beyond comprehension. Can the father forgive himself for not be able to save his own child and wife? How long will he suffer this pain?

On 4th June,a Meitei woman named Meena who married to a #Kuki_Zo man rushed her 7yr old son Tonshing Hangshing with bullet injuries to Hospital.
On the way,they were greeted by a radical #MeiteiMobs .Although Meena pleaded herself to be one of them that couldn��t stop the wrath of the furious mob who burned the mother-son duo & a relative with the Ambulance.
