@ariehkovler I understand what you’re saying, but we reference things said in a dead language based on our learning of the historical record, and the historical record of that phrase starts with someone counseling against using it how Musk used it. It is in fact “the original quote” on record

@RadioFreeTom What you say here is fair, but I think this is a straw man. I think what a lot of people are saying is, why did it take you 22 years and Trump to seriously challenge the GOP when it was obvious to a lot of people that things were going off the rails long before him?

I find this in no way comparable to Williamson’s comments on advocating for the execution of women who have abortions (no mention of the men who force or pay for them by the way).

Just because millions are convinced of that because of religion, doesn’t make it logically consistent or worth hearing about advocating for the execution of women exercising their rights
