My testimony:

My name is Prisha Mosley. I was a minor when my doctors began my transition, a life long medical decision that I couldn’t understand. I didn’t understand that I was being advertised to, or that I couldn’t really change sex. My doctors medically defrauded me by tricking me into thinking that transition was the only option I had for mental healthcare, and that suicide was inevitable if I didn’t.

WPATH recently testified on the Fox Varian case, which she won against doctors who cut off her breasts at 16 years old, saying that trans related surgeries are not a treatment for suicidality. There are ethical ways to treat suicide which don’t involve removing body parts and destroying the health of the patient.

I am suffering life long medical damage as a result of my transition. I’m dealing with insulin resistance, an enlarged liver, chronic pain, nerve damage, missing body parts and more, all because my doctors didn’t give me ethical care, and there weren’t people like me yet fighting to stop the abuse.

I’m here speaking out now because I was harmed. I will never be the same healthy person I was because testosterone and surgery. Please heed my warning and save the health of other children for whom there is still time to grow up whole.
