Before AI, you Googled your symptoms.
The first page was Mayo Clinic, WebMD, Healthline, and the AHA. All of them say the same thing. Lower your cholesterol. Take a statin. Eat less saturated fat. Consult your doctor.
Those results are not ranked by accuracy. They are ranked by SEO authority, advertising spend, and institutional credibility scores. Mayo Clinic ranks first because it is Mayo Clinic, not because its dietary advice is correct.
Google does not evaluate whether the information is true. It evaluates whether the source is trusted. And the most trusted sources in health are the ones funded by the pharmaceutical industry.
So for 20 years, every person who typed “how to prevent heart disease” into Google got the lipid hypothesis as the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth result. Not because it was the best science. Because it had the biggest budget behind it.
The buried science, Ross 1999, Brown and Goldstein’s Nobel Prize findings, the Sachdeva data, the CANTOS trial, all of it exists online. But it is buried on page 7. Nobody gets to page 7.
Google did not lie to you. It ranked the lies first.
📣🚨 METROPOLITAN POLICE OFFER UNRESERVED APOLOGY TO GRAHAM LINEHAN AND PAY HIM £25,000
The Metropolitan Police have at long last offered an unreserved apology to Graham Linehan and paid him £25,000.
Last September, the Irish comedian and co-creator of Father Ted was arrested by five armed police officers as he landed at Heathrow Airport.
His crime? Three gender-critical posts on X.
He was arrested, taken to a police station and questioned for several hours. In the early hours of the following morning, he was rushed to hospital after his blood pressure rose to dangerously high levels.
The Free Speech Union is proud to have supported Graham in taking legal action against the Metropolitan Police for wrongful arrest and breaches of his free speech rights.
General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Lord Young, has said: “I’m beginning to lose count of the number of cases we’ve fought in which the police have arrested someone for a tweet, decided to take no further action and then had to pay them substantial compensation for wrongful arrest.
“At some point you’d think the penny would drop: police our streets, not our tweets.”
While we welcome the Metropolitan Police’s apology and compensation payout to @Glinner, this should never have happened in the first place.
It is high time the police focused on our streets, not our tweets.

People ask me why I'm so passionate about full fat ground beef.
Here's why.
It's the cheapest thing in the butcher's cabinet and the healthiest thing he sells, both at once, and almost nobody stops to find that strange.
The premium names get the glory. The ribeye, the fillet, the tomahawk that turns up with its own photographer. Ground beef gets treated like the runner-up.
Same animal. Same complete amino acids, same B12, zinc, heme iron, creatine and carnosine your brain and muscles cannot run a day without. The cow never hid the good stuff in the dear cuts.
Then the fat, which is the whole point. The fuel. The reason one bowl holds you clean through to tomorrow. Strip it out and you're left with 5% lean: grey, weeping, joyless, a sad little dressing-gown of a food that leaves you hungry an hour later and calls it discipline.
And the full fat stuff turns into anything. Loose in butter at breakfast. Pressed into a patty. Piled under a fried egg. Eaten cold from the pan at 11pm with the house asleep and no one to answer to.
The best food a human can eat is the one the skint student and the pensioner can still buy by the kilo. That was never supposed to be allowed.
Fifty years they warned you it would finish you off. It was building you the whole time.
Eat the fat.
🔥Ha… UN climate accounting is fabulous!
Drax (our ‘green’ power station) pumps out millions of tonnes of CO₂ a year more than any other power station, and at the smokestack sometimes worse than coal! But it’s “green” because it burns wood.
And because it’s “green”, bill payers have been forced to hand it nearly £9 BILLION in subsidies.
Excellent dividends for shareholders 🔥
Everybody at that gas station warned me about the dog behind the dumpster.
They said he was really mean and not to get close.
It took me three full days of leaving food before he finally let me sit beside him.
Under all that matted fur, I could barely find his eyes.
The vet shaved off almost 5 pounds (over 2kg) of knots and tangled fur that he had been dragging around for years.
A few months later, I had a completely different dog.
Now he sleeps on my bed, and some nights I look over and he’s already watching me from across the room, like he still can’t believe I came back.
If you have an old rescue dog sleeping near you right now, give him an extra scratch tonight. 🐕❤️
Condescending, smirking superiority from someone
with contempt for women's legitimate needs
Could someone give him a biology textbook. so that he can read about 'y' chromosomes
1/5 This is where I think we go wrong. We look at a single lab value and assume that lowering it will solve the problem. An HbA1c of 4.8% and a low CRP are reassuring, but they don't show what is happening with insulin. What is the fasting insulin ? /2
The ruminant family, and the one job each member does that nothing else can:
Cattle: turn a wet hillside into milk and beef, and build the soil while they stand on it
Sheep: grow a fireproof, compostable fibre every year on grass and rain
Goats: eat the scrub, bramble and invasive weed that chokes everything else out
Water buffalo: make the milk that becomes real mozzarella, on marshland a cow would sink in
Yak: live and give milk at altitudes that would kill any lowland animal
Reindeer: feed and clothe whole peoples above the Arctic Circle, on lichen and moss
Bison: engineer an entire prairie ecosystem simply by grazing across it
Seven animals, one gift each, none of them replaceable by a machine or a crop.
Every one of them classed, this decade, as a liability.
This is the reality they don’t want you to think about.
The average Englishman wakes up and gets taxed on his telly, his house, his car, his fuel, his wages, his shopping, his pint, and even his fucking holiday. By the time they’re done he’s had a third of his money taken before he’s even spent it, then they come back for more on everything he buys.
Meanwhile the smug bastards who designed this shit sit there on tax-free salaries with non-contributory pensions, looking down their noses at him. They don’t live under the same rules. They never have.
This isn’t taxation. It’s legalised robbery dressed up as governance, and the working man is the only one expected to keep paying while they keep taking.
I need to tell you something that makes me angrier than anything else in medicine.
60 randomized controlled trials. 323,950 patients. Every cholesterol-lowering drug ever made. Statins. PCSK9 inhibitors. Ezetimibe.
One question. Did lowering LDL cholesterol make people live longer?
Look at the chart. Every dot is a trial. The red line is zero benefit. If these drugs saved lives, the dots would be above the line.
They are not. They reduced LDL by up to 80%. Nobody was saved.
But that is not what makes me angry.
What makes me angry is that millions of people believe they are safe because their LDL is low. Their doctor says "your numbers look great." They go home and never think about it again.
Meanwhile the 12 things that actually cause heart disease are silently building inside them. Nobody is checking. Nobody is testing. Because a cholesterol number gave everyone a false sense of security.
That is not a failure of medicine. That is a fraud.
Ennezat et al. Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology. 2023.
1/8 I’ve spent nearly 20 years studying statins through independent research, not industry narratives or marketing. Statins inhibit the mevalonate pathway, reducing far more than cholesterol. They also suppress the production of CoQ10, GGPP, FPP, steroid hormones, heme-A,

I want you to stare at this chart until it sinks in.
60 cholesterol-lowering drug trials. 323,950 people. Statins. PCSK9 inhibitors. Ezetimibe. Every drug class. Every dose.
The x-axis is how much they lowered LDL. Up to 80 percent.
The y-axis is how many lives were saved.
Look at where the dots sit. Flat on the zero line. Some below it. Below zero means more people died.
They lowered LDL by up to 80 percent in some trials. Nobody was saved.
Mortality is the only endpoint that matters. Not LDL levels. Not cholesterol panels. Not relative risk percentages on a drug label.
Did the person live or die.
60 trials. 323,950 people. It made no difference.
(Forrrest et al. 60 cholesterol-lowering trials. 323,950 patients. All drug classes.)
So...
We're not allowed to buy air conditioners for our houses to cool them in hot summer weather, because we don't have enough electricity to power them, because the solar panels and wind turbines we installed to stop the planet getting hot in summer, don't work when it's hot and windless in summer, so we'd need to burn gas, oil and coal instead to power the AC to cool our houses, but we blew up the oil, gas and coal power stations to stop the planet getting hot in summer, but it's still hot in summer.
But it's still ok to install heat pumps in winter, heat pumps which are also air conditioners and use the same amount of electricity or more, but we still won't have enough electricity to power them on cold, dark, windless winter evenings, because solar panels and wind turbines don't work then either, and we blew up the gas, oil and coal fired power stations because they were making the planet too hot in winter as well as summer.
Have I missed anything?
