@Osinttechnical We should'nt celebrate yet, Putin has conjured the perfect economical storm against the west and it's only the weather gods preventing him splitting the western powers.
Putin's announced mobilization of 300,000 "reservists" was jaw-dropping to me this morning, but not for the reason some might suspect.
Why? Because know how Russian soldiers are trained, in basic training & in their units.
A brief 🧵 on some fun facts. 1/
The @BulwarkOnline asked me to outline the differences between the Russian & Ukrainian armies. So here’s what I saw over the last 20 years: 2 Armies going in different directions. https://t.co/Tun1JPe6NA
#Ukraine: Norwegian artillery ammunition actively used by the Ukrainian army- here we can see Nammo NM28 155mm projectiles, which are the 🇳🇴 equivalent of the American M107. A large quantity of these projectiles were supplied with 22 M109A3GN self-propelled howitzers from Norway.
Russian Ministry of Defence release video appearing to show Ukrainian multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) using the shopping mall to park that was then struck by a Russian ballistic missile last night
A few of observations;
The strike was almost certainly a SRBM.
It hit a number of hours after the first drone video, probably 5-7.
Because of the lack of aircraft PGMs, Russia was forced to use a ballistic missile to destroy something like 5 vehicles.
A disastrous day for the RUAF, and probably indicates that the thoughts about their PGM situation were true.
Russian aircraft are forced to enter Ukrainian short range air defense range in order to deploy their unguided munitions.
The 405th Army Field Support Brigade fully activated its Army Prepositioned Stock-2 sites for the first time in the brigade’s APS-2 program history.
“now the brigade is tasked with outfitting an entire armored brigade combat team being deployed to Europe from the United States”
