Dharma Shastra tells us that under NO condition, the continuity of Sandhyavandanam should be broken. So profound is its importance that Even during Sootakam/Asoucham/teetu (impurity due to birth, death etc) also, one should NOT stop doing Sandhyavandanam

Supposing one's family member has died & the body has been kept for taking to cremation ground, once Sandhya kaala time comes, he should FIRST perform Sandhyavandhana silently and THEN take the body to cremation ground.

📖 Dharma Shastram: What if I missed geting up before sunrise or reach home in evening after Sunset ? Can I do Sandhyavandanam ?

☀ The best phalan/merits of Sandhyavandanam will be when you perform it when stars are still shining (San-nakshatra) in the early morning or pre-dawn. Medium phalan/merits/benefits will be there when stars are gone and Sun is about to rise, and lower phalan or merits will be when you perform Sandhyavandana after Sun has fully risen.

☀For the evening Sandhya time starts 48 minutes before sunset. And best phalan will be when the Sun is still shining, medium when sun has set and lower if you perform after stars appear.

📖There is a concept in Dharma Shastra that the karma should not go waste. So it says that not doing Sandhyavandana after your Upanayana, will incur Maha Paapa, so even if we get lower phalan, even then still perform Sandhya whatever time it is, so that the daily duty is discharged although it may carry lower merits. It's just like being promoted to the next class with just-pass marks (35%) while doing Sandhyavandanam on time, is similar to passing exams with flying scores (95-100%). The high scoring people get admission in best colleges, best companies as their karma phalan is more (they worked hard, they stuck to time table to study).

After we did our Coimbatore camp on Thursday we had a record participation for #SamashtiSandhyavandanam (group Sandhyavandanam in temples) at Coimbatore at Sri Rama Temple. 17 people performed Sandhyavandanam jointly at the temple.

@adithya @ahimsatyasteya No I have read, I don't remember exactly where, Sringeri acharyals do give deeksha to others, in one of the books written on Sri Chandrashekara Bharathi Mahaswamiji, when a person who requested him to give Sanyasa deeksha, he said no, since he was from different Veda Shaakha.

Tejas: Wow ! It seems so interesting. You say it is the oldest knowledge system. How is it relevant in current times ? As we were taught upto-date things happening in the world. We live in the current world and what you speak was once upon a time. How is it relevant today ?

Karthikeya: The relevance cannot be explained as you won’t agree to what I say because you don’t have an iota of knowledge on it. We can discuss the mechanism of action of a medicine, only with a doctor who has studied medicine. We can discuss about nuclear science only with a physicist who knows about it. So you need to learn from a Guru even to get a basic whiff of what I am saying. One who gets into it, experiences it ! One who experiences it, realizes it ! Today is a world of experiential learning. So *till you try and be consistent, you cannot realize the depth of what I am saying. It is easy to comment as an outsider but you don’t know the surface or depth of the subject, so difficult for me to tell you anything justg like that !* I am happy though with whatever I do. And you would agree money cannot buy happiness

Kiran : Hmmm. Yes you look happy visibly but how are these practices relevant in Kali Yuga ?

Karthikeya: Do you know that our course syllabus has a chapter called “Kaliyuga Dharma”. These are things to do in this current Yuga. So they prescribe inclusions and exclusions in the present Yuga where we are in. So we are upto-date in pedagogy. Certain practices of older Yugas are banned in Kaliyuga. So they have simplified many things for the Kaliyuga. *Our course directors being divine beings, they can foresee the future in deep meditation and have adapted the syllabus as per each yuga and prescribed what to include and what to exclude.* So compared to our earlier counterpart who used to do tapasya (penance) for years together in earlier yuga to accomplish something, we accomplish most things with simple practices in kaliyuga recommended by our Rishis.

Kiran & Tejas: Lovely to learn all this. All this sounds good but what do you do for a living ?

Karthikeya: I earn enough money to sustain myself and my family but I have happiness and peace in life because I use the principles of life taught by Veda Ghosham. Devatas, our course directors, created the world, humans and solutions for all as well and that too as per Yuga. Finally Steve Jobs had all the money but it could not alleviate his suffering or save his life !!!

There was a conversation between 3 school friends Kiran, Tejas and Karthikeya who met in an alumni meet after many years

Kiran: Hello Tejas. I am happy to know that you are a pass-out of the illustrious IIN Institute of Management and came to know recently that you are in a high role in a chemical firm

Tejas : Yes, was lucky to get into IIN in 2019. I was very very fortunate to learn from the doyens of management. The syllabus is so upto-date and the pedagogy is set by the most learned professors and adapted with changing times to suit the ever changing environment. Learnt a lot from case studies too. I also had a good exposure to great leaders in the industry and the learnings that they gave me were really so rich that I continue to use them in my day to day work... but..

Kiran: Great Tejas ! But....what ?

Tejas : Lot of stress currently, though I earn a lot with no shortage of money but life is not peaceful.

Kiran: True ! That is with most of us. Look at me I have done my MBA from Looth University. You must be knowing that it is based out of Chicago. Highly ranked in the world amongst Business schools and when I was studying there, the syllabus was adapted after a lot of research from top educational institutions. To source this data, our university paid millions and then incorporated it in the syllabus. So I had a lot of fresh and upto-date learning. I am now in a top position leading a big consulting firm but yes life is full of tension and stress. We are paid to get stressed .....(laughs)

Tejas : By the way Karthikeya you are watching us silently with a gentle smile. Tell us what did you do and currently what do you do?

Karthikeya: Well, I studied at Veda Ghosham which is into teaching Vedas, Dharma Shastras and Nityakarma Anushtanas to people who want to learn the ancient method of worship of the Devatas, as written in the Vedas.

Tejas: Oh that is interesting. Haven’t heard much about this Veda Ghosham. Where are they based out of ? What is their syllabus and from where do they source it from ?

Karthikeya : Though they have branch in Bharata like your IINs which are at many places, but Veda Ghosham's Parent HQ is based out of Deva loka (Swarga). The authors of the course and the course directors are not there on earth. They have appointed some teachers on earth (they are addressed as Gurus) who teach humans this never-ending course.

Tejas and Kiran: Eyes wide open in amazement and mouth open .... What ???

Karthikeya:
Yes what they teach is Para Vidya (the knowledge which has descended from a non-earthly plane about the divine). There are 6 planes of existence above the earth which we cannot perceive with our normal eyes. They exist in the world above us in the cosmos. It requires a lot of sadhana / tapasya and you sticking to Vedic anustanas, to be able to percieve them. The syllabus of what is taught at Veda Ghosham is from the residents of these 6 non earthly divine planes above our world. Devatas, Rishis, Munis and Mahatapasvis stay in these worlds, and are the authors and the course directors. We also have case studies of turn-around situations with practice of Vratas & anushtanas tried, tested & recommended by Rishis. We frequently apply them even now in our life with great outcomes. They are taught to their 1st batch of students during creation and they taught to other students and so on. So this educational university is the oldest in the universe. The syllabus is the oldest as their source is the eternal Vedas

Dharma Shastra speaks about non duality between Gods and Sandhya Devi

Brahmano hrudayam Vishnuhu, Vishnoscha hrudayam Shivaha, Shivasya hrudayam Sandhya tenopasya dwijotamaihi

Rishi Kashyapa who has written this sloka says,

In Brahma's heart stays Vishnu, in Vishnu's heart stay Shiva, in Shiva's heart stays Sandhya Devi, therefore O Dvijas! Perform Sandhyopasana (Sandhyavandanam)

👆🏼This sloka brings out the oneness amongst the Trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva and finally says she (Sandhya Devi) resides in Lords heart, therefore by doing Sandhyavandanam you will reach heart of all the Gods in one go which is the Nityakarma of Sandhyavandanam
