This poor donkey had a broken leg, yet it was still forced to carry heavy loads, its suffering ignored.
Thanks to the Rudraprayag Police for intervening and putting an end to this cruelty.

ACTIVISM OR SUBVERSION?
The controversy recalls the UPA years, when PM Manmohan Singh blamed US-based and Scandinavian-backed NGOs for fuelling protests against the Kudankulam nuclear plant.
India must address tribal concerns. But it must also investigate credible leads of foreign interference. The biggest question is: When does activism become a threat to national security?

WHO IS FUNDING THE FIGHT?
A further investigation by @shawansen to be telecast tonight at 9PM on The Hard Facts will expose the foreign funder but what stands out at the moment is a disturbing angle of political patronage.
Tatak is a Congress party member. Interestingly, she joined the party on December 2025. The membership grants a suspected "foreign funded" activist political cover and hence a degree of immunity.

FOREIGN FUNDS TO SUBVERT INDIA’S CHINA COUNTER?
Protestors are out on the streets of Itanagar opposing a project of immeasurable strategic importance. Now, a CNN NEWS18 investigation led by Manoj Gupta has yielded that
a CBI FIR (attacked below) alleges Arunachal activist Bhanu Tatak (belonging to SIFF) who is leading the protests has received Rs 20.94 lakh between 2022 and 2025 to allegedly organise protests against India’s 11,000 MW Siang dam project. The agency is probing 4 money transfers reportedly originating in Britain and the Philippines.
The project is India’s strategic hedge against China’s mega dam upstream in Tibet. The MHA has flagged alleged foreign-funding links as Arunachal’s government and the Centre suspect the agitation may go beyond local concerns over displacement and seismic risks.

Can’t understand why these so-called intellectuals suddenly feel the need to lecture everyone on the day of a Hindu festival.
A woman can be independent, career-oriented, and still choose to celebrate Karwa Chauth. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
And who is Dia Mirza to dictate what women should or shouldn’t find happiness in?
Have never seen her lecturing people that wearing a burqa or hijab, or practising halala, extends a husband’s or brother’s life,
why do a selective outrage when it comes to Hindu traditions ?
When fasting during Ramzan is celebrated as faith and cultural heritage, why does Karwa Chauth become a lecture on patriarchy and hypocrisy?
Vernika Awal’s contrasting articles expose the brazen hypocrisy and the selective cultural sensitivity with which Hindu traditions are often scrutinised.
For pseudo-liberals, Hindu festivals are convenient punching bags, while other faiths are shielded by the very principles they deny Hindus.

🚨MASSIVE: India Rejected Second Class UN Seat, No Veto, No Deal
India has sent a blunt message on UN Security Council reform: a permanent seat without veto power is not real reform.
India is rejecting the idea of creating a “second-class” category of permanent members, countries that would carry the title of permanent membership but remain excluded from the most powerful decision-making mechanism in the Council.
For India, the choice is simple: either abolish the veto altogether, or extend it equally to all permanent members.
No second-tier permanent membership. No symbolic seat. No compromise that leaves the existing P5 power structure untouched.
And that position strikes at the heart of the decades-old struggle to reform the Security Council. The world has changed dramatically since 1945, but the Council's core power structure has barely moved.
India's message is essentially this: if the UN wants to remain relevant to the world of today, it cannot continue to operate entirely on the power equations of the world of yesterday.
No veto, no deal.

Abhishek Banerjee is dreaming that TMC will come to power again.
It has been just five months since TMC lost power, and he is already threatening to take action against police officers if his party returns to power.
He should focus on his own political future. After the 2029 Lok Sabha elections, he may not even remain an MP.
