@mvisbeck Agreed. What do you think is the primary barrier to those data being daylighted? Are they findable but not accessible? If so, where are the demand metrics showing up and why aren’t they being responded to?

“By 2030 there should be no datum left behind.” At #OceanDecade Interesting perspective but I’m not sure how practical. We are massively increasing observation data streams. Data reduction to detect important signals is key. Don’t throw out but manage the stream well.

@G_OCeans In earth science, we saw an editors round table effective accomplish major advance in data publishing. Could a round table of some kind come together here to help eliminate the barriers?
