@epicenee I read all kinds of books, but I agree self-help are prob the worst, like all you need to do is read the 5 best ones and you're done. Next you move on to philosophy and spirituality etc if you want to improve further. Any idiot can write self-help and get away with it.

My fav thing abt fluffy romance is watching characters fall in love through the ordinary moments of everyday life, sharing selfies, talking about the most random things, giggling and blushing at their phones, before they eventually start dating and the build-up feels so worth it
