Moved to Wisconsin, so I won't be going any more events in DC, atleast not for a long while. I might go to some protests/events in Wisconsin though.

A United Airlines flight heading to Newark International Airport nearly struck a drone as it was approaching the airport, the pilot reported.

United said in a statement that the plane landed safely and all passengers deplaned normally.

This video was sent to me by a viewer whose husband was evacuating their cabin near Eureka as the Cherry Fire exploded Friday afternoon.

The flames can be seen burning on both sides of the road as he drove to safety. It’s a sobering look at just how fast this fire spread during the extreme winds and dangerous fire weather.

The Cherry Fire is one of several large wildfires that rapidly grew across central Utah today, forcing evacuations, closing roads, and sending thick smoke across much of the state.

If you’re in or near an evacuation area, don’t wait. Leave when you’re told. Conditions can change in minutes.

A small plane crashes into a 109-story skyscraper in Beijing, sending debris down the building's side.

Local reports say the pilot Liu Junhua was conducting a solo flight in the local airspace, took off from Shifosi Airport at 17:30, and at 17:40 prepared to return for landing. While joining the westbound route for Runway 18, the aircraft did not join the approach, deviated from the local airspace and continued flying on a constant heading of 270 degrees.

Because in Irkutsk people are spending AT LEAST HALF A DAY waiting at queues at gas stations the mayor of the city has promised to send portable toilets to the queues to "reduce the inconvenience". So something is indeed being done to address the shortage.
