Great song and all. But creepy af family. If I go to visit a family and they all smile creepily at me at the same time and start singing at the same time, imma assume they are going to sacrifice me for some ritual and get the fuck out there as soon as possible. 👀👀
Some people start whining when an actor/technician/filmmaker, long associated with independent cinema, slowly transition to mainstream cinema. Suddenly, words like "sell out", "zero integrity" or "spineless" are thrown around. Well, at a time when working in mainstream cinema itself doesn't guarantee prompt/full payment (it's even worse when "progressive" filmmakers don't pay their actors), how do you expect someone who didn't come from privilege to stay with "broke ass" cinema for a long time? Sometimes their circumstances force them to work with someone they don't like, someone ideologically opposite... So easy for people on social media — to be specific, the privileged folks with enough free time on their hands — to pass such lazy judgements. They're not going to pay their bills, are they?
What if I never meet someone who understands my obsession with books, coffee, philosophy, classical music, night, rain, poetry, cats, dead language, learning, the idea of romantic love, libraries, art, sunset and the moon.
he chose his integrity and creative vision over everything and it clearly paid off. jesus fucking christ, the more i hear about curry the more successful i want him to be
With Kashyap on this.
If only films that can have big openings are allotted screens, films like Bandar, Sing Geetham, Main Vapas Aaonga that need word of mouth do not have a chance to recover cost.
Fewer of those films will be made & star vehicles will dominate. If you are a 26 year old writing the next Obsession - with new comers in India, brother it’s not even going to get greenlit!
This isn’t about Kashyap!
