HBCU J-Schools are doing a fantastic job preparing & equipping journalists of the future. I plan on spotlighting different programs regularly just to showcase all of the success stories.
To start it off with ladies first, FAMU’s J-School has consistently produced successful & talented women sports reporters. 🐍🔥

Award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien met with our FAMU Chapter of @NABJSTUDENTS to impart wisdom to the next generation of journalists. O’Brien recently visited the university for a Black History Conversation discussing the film, “The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks.”
When I was at FAMU, I used to think our program was so outdated and that we didn't have a lot of resources. Since I been in the "real world" I learned that some people degrees aint nothing but a piece of paper with a stamp.
