The age of writing e2e tests is over. Let your LLM directly control the browser via cli or MCP. The tests will also be nondeterministic; someone may call it flakey initially. But, the beauty will come out.
I've tested the integration & automation (with Jira tickets) of UX review and Tech review from LLM or a multimodel in the enterprise software dev cycle. The actual implementation of a ticket still requires a lot of resource, which I don't have at the moment to experiment.
About 10 years ago, I stopped using PhpStorm; about 5 years ago, I switched to #Devcontainer. I just had a LLM to pimp out the documentation for my tooling https://t.co/mDPwSCT1ac
CrowdStrike, Cloudflare and Okta all went down 10% today. Related to this announcement? https://t.co/NYllGJULux. What's stopping "Claude Code/Gemini/Grok Commerce" to disrupt SaaS Commerce? Or how much longer yet?
To clarify a little bit: Signal registration requires a phone number. It means phone companies can deploy man in the middle attack (for whatever reason) to trick Signal to replace your public key, hence hijacking future communication.
Today is the 25th anniversary of Drupal, the open source software project I’ve spent my whole career helping build. I shared private thanks last night with my various mentors and early champions, but I also thought to share this part of my story more broadly.
Drupal - the software and the community - literally opened the world to me. I was a 22 year old young man with no clue that I should even be *thinking* about a career when I started tinkering with Drupal for work and as a replacement for my old Geocities site.
Before I knew it, throwing myself into building Ubercart - the software and the community - became not just a career in Drupal / eCommerce but also a means by which I'd see more of the world than I ever thought possible. I've danced with sharks in Shanghai, learned to salsa (poorly) in Bogotá and San Jose CR, pub crawled London before sitting on Henry VIII's throne (i.e., his toilet in the White Tower), learned Paris like the back of my hand, explored the hearts of other empires in Rome, London, Prague, and Vienna, and made more friends than I can possibly mention in innumerable other cities.
Embracing the global Drupal community meant leaning into wonder and adventure, and it stretched me in ways I never even knew I needed stretching. I can't pass on the exact same opportunities that I had to my children (the web is ever evolving), but I hope to pass on the same spirit and see this legacy of my time in Drupal multiply to the next generation and beyond.
Here's to the next 25. 🍻
@Dries LLM is a compression algorithm. It can compress a lot of intelligence built over years of exp. Lawyers, doctors, and teachers will be replaced. But, LLM doesn't have access to the physical world yet. It does just gain access to cars, so the operation of driving is disappearing.
Just made a docker container for running #Drupal with #FrankenPHP Source: https://t.co/5H26ovOJcd
Docker Image published at https://t.co/ajYlEGdv04
How can I see the performance gain?
My grandfather passed away on May 31st, 2018. He left an autobiography for me written in Chinese. For many reasons, I haven't read it. The major blocker is that I can't recognize my grandpa's Semi Chinese calligraphy. With recent advancement in AI, I will be able to read it. Therefore, I am making a plan to let my 10-year old son read it then publish the autobiography on X as a series.
