@SalMemeLord It's been purchased many times over but not locked. Many MANY shares stuck in 401Ks, IRAs, And other accounts that would incur a tax penalty if the shares are moved. Only directly registered shares are "locked", the rest are held in street name.

What about naked shorts though, even legitimate shares that have been naked shorted through a MM exception? When a borrower is located are they then owed the dividend?
