@tify330 Now if you wanna blame it white no college grad/white males I think you have a point haha. But it wasn't millennials who carried trump in 2016, they were just more vocal/online.
@tify330 I just pulled this from the first article I saw so may not be totally accurate. But the 18-26 age breakdown from 2016 had the lowest trump support of any demo. I don't think it was mostly a millennial issue.
@JakeSherman@jstein_notus Trump hates the GOP lol and never takes responsibility for anything negative. No aspect of this is revealing in the slightest. Not about his character or his standing/relationship with the GOP.
@jstein_notus Yeah wow who would've thought Trump isn't taking responsibility for something and is blaming the GOP (who he famously has a great relationship with). INCREDIBLY REVEALING.
@eburst87@ClippingWings Like yeah not shit lol I'm not a pundit and I could tell them that haha. Like do the work of politics if you want to have a successful political program...
@eburst87@ClippingWings In context he is actually giving great advice here, it's just kind of embarrassing that career politicians with so much training and institutional support need to hear "go out and campaign, get your message out there, do interviews, defend your positions."
I personally ain't moving my AC one notch higher than 68° even if it explodes the entire regional power grid, but I'm also not a whiny little baby who thinks a standard public advisory (note: NOT requirement) to move it slightly higher during a heat wave somehow means COMMUNISM
@ErikShannon2380@PeteNakos@On3 This 100%. It's mind boggling the trajectory they are on/similarity to all the stupid shit we did over the last 20 years.
@Miss_Prinn@O__V__P@tify330 Just look at the backlash nationwide (including his district) against crypto/AI/data centers. How can you say he is representing his constituents when he is so pro big tech companies?
@adampensel Don't like this take. It's a seven game series and the better team that week won. I think it was close and obviously some metrics favor the sabres/some the habs. If you win the series, you were better by definition. It's not subjective, one team wins and one loses.
@tify330 💯 it's like you can only have a chance if you take that money too. And it makes it really hard for lower information voters to understand what's true/what a candidate really stands for.
@tify330 Particularly the infusion of big tech/crypto/AI money over the last few years is just sickening. It seems like it's impossible for candidates to win without taking at least some of it. I hate it lol.
@tify330 Feel like it's only fair to agree with you when we are in sync. It is crazy how much money is spent/how it is spent in these races. It's honestly kind of depressing and the deluge of capital seems almost insurmountable at times. It's such a fucked up system. 🫤
@tify330 The divide and conquer strategy on social media has been evident since 2016. It’s disheartening to see how people are manipulated to sow division amongst us, and how many fall for it. The goal is to destroy our democracy from within, and it’s working.
