Tradie by day, learning to build software with AI by night 🇦🇺 Doing an IT postgrad, shipping side projects like https://t.co/cZgzepGE1E, and documenting all of it here. Follow along if you're building too 🔥
@Da7_Tech They have lost all credibility if they hadn't already. Real life and AA benchmarks are 2 different things. There should be a 20 point gap between opus 5.5 and anything else
I dont see how Terra will get people to leave Opus 5.5 when its basically unlimited on the $100 plan. I'm running out of ideas of things to build. I think I might build a small game next 🤔
@JustinGorya For me personally Opus 5.5 has been so good I could use it forever. I dont have the need for a better model. Not that I won't gladly use a stronger model but Opus has fixed every issues I have had in my projects with ease
@RobGrieves I got it for free. I used my student email to sign up for cursor free for 12 months and grokbot access is included. Hope this helps someone
@thisiskp_@claudeai@cursor_ai@Netlify@Gemini Massive week for agents. Computer Use in Cursor is the one I'm trying first. Agents driving actual desktop apps opens up so much beyond just code
Every big lab has a proactive agent now. I've been running a few side by side for personal stuff, and the best ones nail one thing: checking with you before they act. Now the long wait until it is available in Australia 🙃
@AlexFinn Opus 5.5 behind a proactive agent is a scary good combo. Keen to see how it handles the "check with me before acting" part, that's where the trust gets built
@rauchg Stealing this for uni. Next time a topic doesn't click, I'm getting an agent to build me an interactive explainer instead of rereading the slides 🔥
@shakhzod1001 You would literally be able to use opus 5.5 on max and use less usage than that. I left codex a couple weeks ago and have not looked back
@thsottiaux This is the bit that gets me excited. Agents handling life admin, not just code. Mine already take care of a bunch of my personal tasks and it still feels like magic every time 🤯
@jenzhuscott Yes. I am testing it along side grokbot and Hark right now. It has come on top with a couple of tasks. I mostly use them for personal life tasks not work or coding. I prefer Hark for the ui and grokbot for the different agents. Instinct is solid though
