so a book series by a canadian author then adapted in canada by a canadian director and writer with canadian cast and crew members doesn’t have the season on dvd/blu-ray available to purchase in canada…. right okay
better than season 1 is a crazy statement but it was almost side by side with that season honestly, season 5 felt like they put some ideas into an ai script generator and that’s what we got
i do find it really funny that the duffers managed to make a season that was low-key better than season 1, and then right after, produced the atrocity that was stranger things 5
its so fun that shane lives to one up ilya and prove him wrong like yeah ilya won the cup first then shane said Ok then won two cups back to back. ilya said he's never see shane with a woman so shane said Ok then dated rose. just the funniest guy ever.
I’m sorry but you either are slow or weren’t paying attention if you don’t get that it was because of the language barrier, the reporter rambled a whole paragraph to a guy who just moved to a country that doesn’t speak his first language
this scene didn’t make it clear enough that it was a language issue for ilya? at no fault of the actors, imo the scene itself needed to be a bit different for tv. cuz people without book context thought this was ilya being anxious, shane stepping in, and that’s it.
I really need a fic where shane absolutely loses it at yuna for even asking him if her let ilya win, because he’s too forgiving in all universes for that to me
I feel like for a country that has shootings everyday it’s extremely dangerous and imagine you lost your child and they didn’t even have a chance to say goodbye, like it’s that serious I think
‘Heated Rivalry’ creator Jacob Tierney teases ‘The Long Game’ adaptation might be split into two seasons:
“Who said I’m doing it all? There’s a lot of material.” (via DEADLINE)
