If you are interested in how the events of 9/11 unfolded from a detailed ground view, Mark Laganga’s footage is a must see.

Following the collapse of the south tower, Mark walks south along west side highway, underneath the pedestrian bridge that connected the north tower to the world financial center.

The north tower is still standing, while the Marriott hotel is sliced in half. Firefighers can be see climbing the mountain of rubble, but immediately turning around when heavy debris is falling from high above.

A firefighter can be heard yelling “come on guys, let’s go!” to a few young guys escaping the Marriott hotel, to which they respond, “hey, I got a man injured back there!”

Almost 7 stories of south tower steel facade can be seen spiked vertically into the ground.
