@pastelteacher@MrBoothY6 The best teachers were the individuals. My best results were from those teachers who stood out and weren't robots. If human individuality was irrelevant we would be taught by robots... The clue is in the fact we are not.
@AlistairDewar2@Headteacherchat Compassion matters ๐ but preparing them for the world more so. If we teach kids deadlines, punctuality and standards donโt apply, weโre setting them up to fail.... The reason I'm never late is becuase I was lucky enough to have teachers who understood this.
@eduleadership No fucking s*** sherlock! Someone needs to tell every f***Ing member of slt who literally w**k to written feedback and treat it like a fetish..
@KyrstieStubbs Not all teachers are ready to teach the same thing at the same time, in the same way... And yet slt still put me on RE....despite being a trained maths teacher ๐.
@SwailesRuth I'm similar when I go to the pub.. I worry alcohol is bad for me.... But by the 3rd pint I'm excited to be back and love the challenge.
Both the continual stress of teaching and alcohol abise will lead to an early grave ๐
First day โtrainingโ & within 30 mins everyoneโs checked out. Data, blame & guilt. Morale killed before term even starts. #education#teaching#schools

You canโt โchatโ your way out of a discipline crisis. Restorative practice without consequences is just noise. Kids need boundaries, not endless reflection time. #edutwitter#behaviour#teacherlife#schools

Kids arenโt learning responsibilityโtheyโre learning to blame. Teachers get the flak, social media rewards victimhood, and leadership hides. This is the bullshit culture thatโs killing accountability.
