***UPDATE***SLC911 is cautiously optimistic that the mobile phone networks are operational and calls placed to 9-1-1 are reaching our system. We appreciate your patience and will continue to send updates as needed.

**UPDATE** We are still working on the cell phone 9-1-1 outages. Calls to 9-1-1 are intermittently connecting, however it appears that texts to 9-1-1 are working. It is always better to call and speak with a dispatcher, however if you are unable to do so, please text 9-1-1
Multiple cell phone carriers are experiencing intermittent problems with their connection to 9-1-1. If you need police, fire, or medical assistance in Salt Lake City or Sandy, and your 9-1-1 call does not go through, please call our non-emergency number at 801-799-3000 option 7.
