PBL Hangout with Suzie Boss - my take away? Best way to get started with a PBL is to start small and with a familiar unit transformed to project - great advice!! #edtechteamonline
True PBLs are are all about the process. It's not about the "end product". Teachers do most of the work at start & students take control, working collaboratively with carefully chosen driving question to lead their way while teacher is the guide on the side #edtechteamonline
Really enjoyed the past HOA with @heza and @trapurdy . I learned so much about design features that I am anxious to bring to my students. Great tip: using @colourlovers to add new colors to Google Drawing palette #edtechteamonline
As Patrick Green says, "GET OVER IT!" I was NOT happy trying to create one and recorded many, many times and can laugh at what a waste of time it was!!! Our students deserve us to just do it! #edtedhteamoonline
Looking forward to getting a deck of cards and having FUN with students! What a creative way to assess students and allow students to take charge of their learning while "smashing" a real world problem #edtechteamonline#smashboardedu#flipgrid
Formative assessment tools are changing my teaching methods. My favorite go to is @GetKahoot Kids love it and so do I Looking forward to using more @Flipgrid @padlet@quizizz#edtechteamonline
My goal is to work on a science pbl and actually connect with others outside my classroom walls - globally would be ideal. I wanted to do this last year with the GRA Global Read Aloud but never did actually make a global connection and wish I had #edtechteamonline
I learned about Pocket this week. I never knew this existed and seems like it would be great for me as I tend to search, search, search for things and this would allow me to organize and save articles for later reads #edtechteamonline
I have honestly only tried out a fourth grade facebook group and just recently. It has proven to be rewarding and I like it, but excited to expand social media use #edtechteamonline
I learn from our digital learning specialist each and every day! I also learn from my grade level teachers and, of course, my students. I also have a grade alike Facebook group that have been so generous in answering questions and sharing resources #edtechteamonline
Social media is a powerful way to connect! It's quick, easy and convenient - can be done from anywhere at any time. Allows you to search for exactly what your after and other times chat and gather/share resources
