@Nutzypoo_ttv@TheRealJHair@TheRealHoz35 A salary cap does not incentivize a team to invest in a player. It forces the player to stay with that team because they know they can’t get paid somewhere else, even if he wants to leave.
@stopeatingfaces@ShakeDown1979X@DodgerDawg69@TomScibelli So why don’t teams open up their books to the public to prove this point? It’s because they’re making money hand over fist. All a salary cap does is help team valuations.
@ClayTravis If they truly were hurting for money and could not afford this then they would open their books up and show everyone that this just doesn’t work, but they don’t. They let you argue for them to implement a cap.
@ClayTravis Wrong really all a salary cap does is give owners a fixed cost of their franchise which causes the franchise valuation to spike up. That is why they want a cap.
@ShakeDown1979X@DodgerDawg69@TomScibelli So why no outrage for the Mets (whose payroll is higher than the Dodgers)? Why no outrage for the owner of the Tigers whose net worth is 6.9 Billion and could easily afford Skubal?
@ShakeDown1979X@TomScibelli Go fuck yourself and your poverty franchise. You fucking piece of shit! Come to Dodger stadium and say any of that shit. We’ll gladly turn you into the next Brian Stow
@Sundeviljay81@ChrisKlemmer You’re an idiot. Now watch the the Dodgers trade Eric Lauer for the next top 100 prospect. As they did Michael Busch and Matt Beaty
@melissanwbu@vetcrashout@BrettSiegelNBA You know why I care? Because this is another Billionaire ploy to suppress wages of their employees. Yes, they are getting millions, but they will get far less in a cap structure.
@ShakeDown1979X@TomScibelli Which all-stars you fucking numbskull? Pages? Justin Wrobleski? Max Muncy (a guy no one wanted after he was DFA’d by the A’s)
@lorenrivkin@ArielEpstein You are aware there are other teams with better prospects. All they had to do is trade them and they would have Skubal not the Dodgers.
@JustinBrannan@majorityfm I always find it interesting that they don’t have an issue asking for money when it comes to war, but never to help its own citizens.
@skinner_77@MLBPA Baseball has more parity than football. The only thing a salary cap does really is help with the valuation of a sports team which makes the owners more money. Does nothing for parity or even help players.
