The US has quietly deployed 82nd Airborne paratroopers to Israel, per deployment order leaked to me.
The deployment is tied to new US-Israel joint contingency plans for seizing Kharg Island and carving out coastal territory inside Iran.

Death threats against me. A subpoena from Congress. Interviews cancelled and censored. A source indicted. Witnesses killed. Read the book that the corrupt national security state and criminal actors within it have fought tooth and nail to suppress. Now available in paperback.
⛽️ Iran War Has Cost American Consumers Over $35 Billion in Extra Fuel Costs, Brown University Tracker Shows
American consumers have paid more than $37 billion in additional gasoline and diesel costs since the war with Iran began on February 28, according to a real-time tracker developed by Brown University’s Watson School of International and Public Affairs.
The tracker, led by researcher Jeff Colgan, compares current fuel prices against a projected pre-war baseline. The national average for gas has risen to around $4.52 per gallon, up from under $3 when the war began — with summer driving season yet to peak.

🚨Following Trump's post saying he is extending the ceasefire, an Iranian official tells me that, as of this moment, Iran's position remains unchanged: lifting of the naval blockade is a condition for a second round of talks.
Trump caves and agrees to extend the ceasefire, while presenting it as a function of the Iranian government being in disarray.
Very importantly, he is also extending the ceasefire INDEFINITELY, which reflects the outcome I have argued is the most likely: No deal, no sanctions relief, no nuclear compromise, no return to war, while Iran continues to control the Strait.
Not a stable situation, but one in which Trump pockets the central thing he sought - exiting the war - while Iran is bereft of the main thing it was looking for: Sanctions lifting.
United States War Secretary Pete Hegseth has demanded the immediate resignation of Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George, along with the removal of senior leaders Maj. Gen. William Green Jr. and Gen. David Hodne. This action is part of an ongoing overhaul of military leadership aimed at installing personnel aligned with the administration's strategic vision, Reuters reported.
This is a heinous crime by Israel. An extension of its serial killer campaign, hunting and murdering journalists in Gaza. Shame on all Western journalists and news outlets who refuse to condemn these crimes unequivocally.
🚨I asked a senior Iranian official about Trump’s claim Iran requested an extension on Trump’s threat to
bomb energy infrastructure:
“[Trump] is not being truthful. We have not submitted any request regarding potential U.S. attacks,” the official said.
🚨 REPORT | An Israeli citizen was arrested in Las Vegas after police found a cache of weapons, lab equipment, and more than 1,000 samples of unknown liquids at a home tied to a widening biosecurity investigation, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Ori Solomon, 55, is accused of illegally possessing firearms and improperly disposing of hazardous waste. Authorities said officers in protective gear removed materials from the home, which were consistent with those found in a separate case in California.
That investigation began when a foul smell led officials to a warehouse in Reedley, where they discovered a hidden lab containing thousands of biological samples, 1,000 lab mice, and evidence of at least 20 infectious agents including SARS, hepatitis, and dengue.
Prosecutors say Chinese national Jia Bei Zhu ran a scheme from there, importing COVID tests from China and selling them as American-made, and a congressional report flagged over $1.3 million in unexplained payments from Chinese banks tied to the operation.
Investigators found Zhu had listed a Las Vegas house as bail collateral and called it hundreds of times over the past year, making it a key lead that led police to raid the Sugar Springs Drive property, where Ori Solomon was identified as the manager.
⭕️ Israel has not prosecuted a single killing of a Palestinian civilian in the West Bank since 2020, Guardian analysis finds
No Israeli soldier, police officer, or settler has been charged for killing a Palestinian civilian in the occupied West Bank since the start of this decade, a Guardian review of legal data and public records shows. At least 1,100 Palestinian civilians have been killed there since 2020, more than a quarter of them children, according to UN data.
Dozens of former Israeli security chiefs, including two former military heads, five former Mossad and Shin Bet directors, and four ex-police commissioners, have signed a letter warning that "almost daily" attacks on Palestinians amount to "organized activity" by people "wearing uniforms, who shoot at innocent people and burn the property and homes of civilians."
They warned that failure to address what they called "Jewish terrorism" poses an existential threat to Israel.
This month alone, Israeli settlers and police killed 10 Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, including a family of four shot in the head, among them brothers aged five and seven, as they returned from a Ramadan shopping trip.
According to legal rights group Yesh Din, between 2020 and 2025:
▪️over 96% of police investigations into settler violence concluded without an indictment
▪️Of 368 cases, only eight ended in full or partial convictions
▪️Palestinians filed 1,746 complaints against Israeli soldiers in the same period, including over 600 related to killings. Less than 1% resulted in charges
