@LibDemPeers Thank you. I needed to hear this today. Too many people just don't understand us and our children. The last few weeks have been mentally exhausting for send parents and schools alike. There's so much understandable fear and we all need to know there's someone who speaks for us
@SkyNews in terms of student finance the loans and financial contributions from parents do not cover rent. 3 going to university in September. We are expected to contribute Β£4000 a year each but we are losing universal credit and child benefit.
@TiceRichard Sounds like more reason for deeply ableist people to cut benefits to me. You aren't disabled, you just need to find that different thing you can do. If you think this is going to take the heat off you you've got another thing coming.
Evri, our local courier is a local hero. This week despite horrendous conditions, Paul has been out every single day delivering. He makes evri the most reliable courier for us locally. I'd love to nominate him for an award #nominatemycourier#everydeliverymadeforyou
#trevorphillips why why why when talking about the Rwanda scheme is the elephant in the room not mentioned. The scheme was totally immoral. This is a country human rights watch have expressed concerns about & yet it's not challenged
@gfreeman2012 What annoys me ATM is their prioritisation and the fact kids at risk of permanent exclusion haven't been prioritised & there's been no real work to identify schools and target ed psychs to the ones struggling the most. Not that there should be the need of course
@gfreeman2012 Great if the child has a blumming plan in the first place and you can get them to deal with an annual review. At least they've put it in black & white more funding is out there. That one actually helps me!
@MarkFunnell6 @Jen_Bentley @DailyMailUK@nationaltrust A general point but we are finding it increasingly impossible to eat out because whilst places have menus full of vegan options, coeliac options are really limited. It's not as if we have a choice.

@SchoolsWeek Patience? Sorry but I've spent the last 5 years watching the system collapse. 32 weeks waiting for an EHCP which will probably take over a year.
Education secretary Bridget Phillipson has urged 'for a bit of patience' as they work out how to fix the broken SEND system, but said she wants to help mainstream schools run their own special needs provision

@MichaelRosenYes It also doesn't teach kids to write. My 8 year old can answer grammer questions perfectly, he can list adverbs etc but ask him to write something that's in his head and he can't.
