People wake up as early as 4:30 a.m. to catch the train to Delhi and return home only at 10 p.m. They spend 6–7 hours travelling and do this six days a week. Many have been doing it for several decades.

Due to the RRTS, they now complete the two-way journey in just 2 hours and save 4–5 hours every day.

I request Modi ji to approve an RRTS for the Bengaluru–Mysuru–Tumakuru region. It will help 30–40 lakh people in Karnataka

India is about to get its largest phenol plant, and its first on-purpose propylene unit.

Haldia Petrochemicals' ₹6,000 crore phenol and acetone complex is starting next month.

It is important because of two reasons.
* India's phenol demand crossed 600 KTPA in FY25. Deepak Phenolics anchors about 57% of the market, while imports from Thailand, Singapore and South Korea make up about 40%.
Deepak's Dahej capacity is already 330 KTPA of phenol and 200 KTPA of acetone. Add Haldia and India's phenol capacity reaches ~675 KTPA against 600+ KTPA of demand. Acetone reaches ~415 KTPA against roughly 330 KTPA.

So, complete import elimination and savings of 450 million dollars imports.

* Second - Geography matters too. Haldia gives eastern India a domestic source and reduces dependence on the western Kandla-Dahej axis.

These two chemicals are critical to almost every industry.
Phenol feeds resins and polymers. Acetone goes into pharmaceuticals, paints, coatings and automotive components.

A chemical India imported by the shipload will soon be made at home, on both coasts.
