That would be $8.86 in 2009 and 12.85 today. More than 1/2 of the states have a minimum wage less than 12.85. At the very bare minimum if an employer can and chooses to pay the federal minimum wages their employees shouldn't be making less than an employee in 1974.

@onikas_boo1 Black people can be discriminatory but not racist which the 2 words arent interchangeable. 1 on 1 actions are usually discriminatory, when those actions are backed up by systems of power consistently & regularly, than its racism. Racism is predicated on access to systemic power.

Out of 100s of places contacted only about 10 offered nothing & non required membership.
