This week: fought mismatched Prisma 8 versions, learned how migrations, refs and codecs work, got TypeScript's .js imports to make sense, and finally got my Postgres backend running. Docs first, guesses last.
This week, I've been learning how to setup databases using POSTGRESQL. Learning this has made the difference between vibe coding and software engineering clearer. Additionally, it has also made me know the importance of having a well structured learning guide.
Last week at Blockfuse Labs, I built a Todo API server. Implemented cookie-based sessions for auth and authorization, rate limiting, centralized error handling, and a few other things along the way. Recording a quick walkthrough of the code to track progress.
Spent the weekend working on a task assigned to me at Blockfuse Labs to solidify my backend knowledge with Express. Work in progress. Implemented JWT authentication, password hashing with bcrypt, user registration into a dummy in-memory DB, and input validation with Zod.
Today @blockfuselabs, we dived into building back-end applications with Express. Started by learning how to structure the directories, learned the role of each application ranging from controllers to utilities alongside the use and importance of env files.
Today at Blockfuse Labs, I learned how to code with AI agents. They genuinely speed things up, but you can still run into errors that need real experience to catch and fix. Grateful for the exposure β thanks @BlockfuseLabs π
@_lilboi69 Bro you will be okay. I know itβs hard, but consider the fact that there might be a plus side to this. You can come back stronger, more famous and better than you can imagine
