@RealRorySailor@AndyBTCAdviser Awesome but does your fund’s governing legal document allow for it come audit time with a 100% bitcoin? Use of ranges can be useful here
@BrissyBitcoiner We’ve started accepting in my wife’s cafes as a trial. Very basic (low cost) set up; Muun wallet for accepting payments, spready to record AUD value of the transaction w. date, qty of sats, btc price etc. Share with accountant quarterly for BAS.
@cmkusher Bitcoin (is not a currency). Shares some attributes as property but differs on others. Better scarcity, better portability, better durability, better cost profile, no need for leverage or yield. More volatile, custody risks.
@JesseCollinsBTC Fiat game in a nut shell.
That’s the fiat game in a nutshell.
Borrow a fixed amount to purchase an asset, be that btc, RE or otherwise.
Pay back with an inflating currency.
Inflation does the work for you.
Not a terrible strategy.
@bitcoinrow Go for it. I’m 3/4s of the way there myself. The biggest challenge for us will likely be derisking our business, in Aus PI insurers don’t want to touch it. But it’s an incredible niche & an incredible opportunity to serve a part of the community who are effectively shut out atm.
@bayanimills@Bitcoin_Sydney@BitcoinAlive @orangelabelio Thanks for the offer, didn’t make it tonight!
Great resource, will definitely seek a listing once we’re up & running 😎
@bayanimills@Bitcoin_Sydney Ty sir.
Currently working on the lighting strategy for my cafe in Cronulla, hope to be live by @BitcoinAlive 2024, this could be a useful addition.
