Popular TikToker Mama G has stirred controversy online after posting a video criticizing the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, over reports that a planned protest by church members in Oyo State was allegedly halted.

The reaction follows the recent abduction of pupils and teachers in Oyo State, an incident that has sparked public outrage and intensified calls for stronger security measures.

In the viral video, Mama G claimed that RCCG members who wanted to organize a peaceful protest against the kidnapping were prevented from doing so. She further alleged that the decision was linked to the church’s relationship with Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who is also a pastor in the denomination. However, there is no independent verification of these claims.

The content creator expressed disappointment with Pastor Adeboye and other prominent clerics, accusing them of remaining silent on issues affecting Nigerians. She argued that religious leaders should be more vocal in addressing the country's challenges.
