The fraternity of former presidents is a cool thing, almost sweet in many ways. The events over the last few weeks that have culminated in today’s mess make me sad. We have lost our national civility and decency. I’m hoping we might begin to redeem that. Pray for America.
@_renorigs @renorigs I may look you up soon. I haven’t made the decision yet but it ain’t as fun as it used to be. When I got on Twitter it was good for a few laughs, thought provoking articles and quick headlines. Now, just piss, vinegar and headaches. Trying to figure it out myself.
The bread was fantastic, amazing crust and crumb and Stew’s Artisanal Grill Cheese was pretty sporty. Doesn’t erase the crappiness of the day but it was a nice distraction from the sadness in our capitol. Thankful that God doesn’t ride the wave of politics. Hebrews 13:8.
@troutmaster76 You’re right. But it would carry a lot more weight if your wife said it. Not that therapists can’t appreciate great bread, but professional bakers...well, that’s hard to beat.
@_johnbarnes You may well be right but they’re are certainly not good. I wish I was around to compare this to the late 60’s but I know for a fact that it’s as contentious and ugly a season as I’ve experienced. Hard to watch if you love this country, harder still if you love Jesus.
After 3 rounds of Pictionary, zero correct guesses and a flood of tears, we have established a baseline for competitive behavior to judge our family’s progress for the New Year. Pray for us.
