@KenCarman Setting aside the opportunity cost of the acquisition, if the Cavs ever want to draft, sign or trade for another player represented by an agent, they probably shouldn’t renege on what was clearly a wink and nod deal to give Harden an extension with more guaranteed money.
The #Cavs season can fairly be called a success. But, no reasonable person could consider them close to a title after surviving the 16th and 9th best teams before getting swept by the 3rd. The smart move for the franchise is to tear down a year early rather than a year late.
@estherzelda0514 I used to wonder how MAGAs would feel when it finally dawned on them that they had been duped. I think to some degree, that realization has happened. But I never expected that one day, I would have to go through the same thing as a liberal.
@reesetheone1 "YOU ARE NOT HELPING" is the tagline for his entire political career. Nobody has done more damage to the advancement of the issues they pretend to care about than this guy.
These primary results show that unless ending gerrymandering becomes the number one issue for voters (and it won't), this country is completely cooked.
@DilJaxQuinnPap@danpfeiffer Start with the low hanging fruit that Democrats used to care about: gun control, public education funding, reproductive rights, paid family leave, environmental protections.
@Clevta Have to declare the trade a success after making a conference finals. The next 1-2 Harden years will be the tax, but the alternative could have been so grim. Garland either hurt or not good enough, Cavs get bounced early, Mitchell asks out or they have to move him under duress.
@SportsBoyTony I shit you not, on Locked on Pistons, Lindsey Hunter said Tony Brothers should be “sent to Pakistan.” This is the level of vitriol and delusion we’re talking about.
@SportsBoyTony I’ve been listening to Pistons pods and reading Pistons Twitter: If you think there will be any recognition and acceptance of responsibility, you are mistaken. They have fully taken on the JB persona.
Pistons could still win this series, but the excuse culture of that team, local media, and fanbase is embarrassing. You choked the game away. What are you talking about? #Cavs
@BenAxelrod Oh yeah, the franchise that retired Michael Jordan's number needs to make sure they don't make too big of a deal out of the best guy to ever suit up for them who won two championships.
