@TheIzutsumi@CrackMacca@Noctnovv@awesomust he blocked me lmao this guy is a genuine tweaker. He sees Sans literally winking at the player while saying "But I've never met you before," and is convinced that somehow this isn't an obvious reference to Undertale. He's a lost cause
@CrackMacca@Noctnovv@TheIzutsumi@awesomust they highkey do apply because Deltarune is basically just a sequel plus anytime you go to install the game Toby Fox is begging you to play Undertale first. You have some weird gripe with DR specifically because it has a meta-narrative but that's a you problem brother
@CrackMacca@TheIzutsumi@awesomust are you slow? that would be the player’s fault for playing deltarune without playing undertale first, like toby fox repeatedly suggests. this is like getting mad at a sequel for referencing events from the first instalment because “what if the viewer didn’t watch the first movie”
@protectbabysif_ @Agushera05@Super_Scoopy@the_2734@MikumoBoy yeah this always annoys me. like i also think neil druckman is a dickhead but the game is just still pretty solid. feels really performative to insist that it’s always been bad/zionist propaganda.
@AesirAesthetics@thegrayfruit okay then can i have some examples of decision making that DS1 gives the player? i’m not tryna be a dick i just can’t really think of anything in that game that forces the player to think very hard
@AesirAesthetics@thegrayfruit ultimately i agree with the sentiment that people can just enjoy different aspects of souls games, but i would say the biggest changes from ds1 to ER is the pace of combat, not the “decision making” component.
@AesirAesthetics@thegrayfruit what about the early souls games make them more decision making focused though? if anything i’d argue that elden ring offers better decision making options because of greater build variety, more precise hitboxes and movement to encourage strafing and the ability to jump or roll.
@ChosenbyBlacks @My_Eyes_Burned @okkotsu_iori holy cherry picking. kenjaku didn’t want to fight kashimo because he was recruiting him for the culling games, (and also we don’t know how strong he was at this time or what techniques the body he was inhabiting had). you keep taking dialogue out of context to support your agenda
@ChosenbyBlacks @My_Eyes_Burned @okkotsu_iori bro yuki wasn’t confident in her domain specifically against kenjaku, who was stated multiple times to be the best sorcerer at utilising barrier techniques (besides tengen). she has no reason not to use it against kashimo. yuki wins
@steveraybsmith@serketmaxxing no in jojo, irene is not jolyne, because it’s a brand new universe. in csm all of the events still happened and the impacts of these events on the personality and substance of the characters remain, just not the memories.
