@Boo_ed40 @MartinSLewis @itvMLshow put your tinfoil hat on. I work in the industry. the goverment do not buy energy for uk households. each retailer buys the amount of energy it predicts to sell to its customers at a price purchased on the open market. that price is not set by uk gov.

@Boo_ed40 @MartinSLewis @itvMLshow well they dont charge what they like as the cap is regulated by ofgem. and also they charge based on what they had to buy the electric for on the open market. blame the way electricity and gas is sold on the market which is not on the retailer.

@releasetheherb @MartinSLewis @ofgem the retail sector is on its knees. hence why 30 suppliers went under a few years ago. the energy retailers make tiny profits. I assume you mean the oil and gas companies when u refer to record profits.

@CliffordHerber3 @MartinSLewis @ofgem no its not a tactic. all.meters have a life end date and will be replaced. nothing up with the current generation of smart meters. even if a meter failed to send a read to supplier u can still read the meter from the display.

@VinceRennie @BGT Forced card selection is one of the the most basic card tricks in magic. I got a magic book as a teeneager and was one of the first tricks learned. You could do this on a few days with practice and weeks to perfect without notice. Theae tricks on bgt are repetive and basic

@OctopusEnergy are you getting a lot of negative feedback on the Nero weekly drink codes. They system worked for everyone I know before but since it changed to daily I can never get a code. No codes at 5am ,no codes at 1am. When are these codes released?

@SuccessJourneyp @OctopusEnergy Totally agree. For the last year never had an issue getting a code at any time on Monday or Tuesday. Appreciate later in week usually gone. I am up after 5 usually with dogs and no codes. Usually at Nero by 7am on a work day and no codes. Something not adding up!
