@ZuluOnly So if you sell an item to someone who pays with RWT wealth and there's no way you could know that you get banned? Because that's litteraly what a split is
@BlitzAres And crypto is also selling an idea. An idea of what it's functions could someday be. The stock market idea is solidified itself, but I don't think it's any different other than it's further along.
@BlitzAres But the only reason the stock market would imply such damage is because it's been around so long. If you could wave a magic wand to ease the transition from stock market to none, no one would notice. It's the transition that would be hard, not the lasting effects.
@BlitzAres That's what I mean. A real company that still makes money won't go to 0 but it can crash from 10k to 100 based on a comment that doesn't effect its client base at all.
@BlitzAres Yea, I can concede that the stock market has some backing compared to cryptos none. I just don't think the backing is enough to matter when put against perception. I think all the backing ensures is that it won't just fall to a literal 0
@BlitzAres But my point was that bitcoin is exactly the same as any stock. Exact same format and ups and downs. They are all just made up and manipulated to make the rich richer. They don't actually mean anything
@BlitzAres Money is not backed by the stock market. The stock market is just a gambling platform. It would obviously have far reaching complications because it's been around so long but the world would definitely get past it failing.
