SlowDownCadet is my band. My tweets: tangential chatter about music, gaming, computer (DIY) hackery, procrastination, and excuses for no new recent material.
If positional values get too large on a Unity object, all you'll get is this component warning.
What they don't tell you, is that this can irrevocably cause the engine level physics to fail without any other warning. All our physics and raycasts broke and this is why.
My prediction for #Succession finale : that the story has been mostly wrapped up already in the penultimate episode, so a brief conclusion plays out (lose-lose), followed by an extended sequence set entirely in the past

@RealJamHamster I love the creativity of this build! I know it's not your intention, but this is going to be near-impossible to repeat (at least for others!!)
This is glorious.
Person has a railway line outside their window, so built a Raspberry PI/camera script to watch for passing trains then take photos and stitch together a full image of them, after they've passed. https://t.co/Sh4clsZkDD
Do NOT. I repeat. Do NOT remove curl.exe from your Windows System32 folder to silence a (stupid) security scanner. It will lead to tears and sorrows.
And if you do, please don't ask *me* for help when you've broken your Windows install. I can't fix that.
Because finishing a game is hard and if you don't practice doing that then you won't be good at it when it comes time to actually finish and release your dream game
@RealJamHamster fwiw my filter that worked (100% reliable!) was a 75uF cap - funny, cos that's between the two values you used! but if I can understand this too, I'll feel warm and fuzzy inside.
@RealJamHamster Maybe I'm using the wrong kind of diodes (schottkey 1a 20v), or I'm putting them in the wrong place, but all I see is a flattening of the bottom spike (below 0v) and/or the peak-to-peak drops from my usual 2-ish v (w filter) to 0.3v (w diode)
