Nice to hear LSVT benefits being discussed on @BBCRadio4 this morning! A bit sad that this was termed as “non NHS” treatment though. Our service @qvh do offer this for our patients and we certainly see how great it can be!

We have taken professional advice and concluded that the product and accessories are safe and suitable for the intended use of producing edible foam and meet all required regulations.
We would like to clarify that we offer this as a quality of life product and you should ensure that this is suitable for your intended purpose.
Should you have any questions regarding this please be free to contact [email protected]
Air Pump: The pump unit is a CE Marked air pump for use with aeration of liquid. This is not a Medical Device and its purpose is to produce an edible foam to improve quality of life for persons who are “nil by mouth” The device is clearly marked with the required +/- signs and instructions are included with the device. Users should make themselves aware of battery type and orientation prior to use to ensure safe operation.
Pipettes and Tubing: We can confirm that both items are manufactured from food grade materials and don’t require sterilisation for the intended use. They are not medical devices and do not have direct contact with the recipient. The pipettes are classed as single use.

We are all too busy
Time is flying by
We have no time to do things
