Who makes the most “bananas”— are we talking about real concrete material bananas or are bananas like “the idea of a banana” or “a picture of a banana”— or even “a fractional rental of a future banana”— maybe humans get rich by “hoarding new imaginary bananas.”
Leftists in 2016: “Real Communism hasn’t been tried.”
Right-Wing: “HAHAHA! What cope!”
Right Wing in 2026, seeing China: “Actually guys Real Communism hasn’t been tried.”
@robotwendyfan You retards learned about sysco and act like you uncovered some grand scheme. It’d be like if your friend cooked you dinner and you smugly said that actually the food comes from the grocery store
NYC is rather disappointing on the whole (ranked in terms of how annoying each problem is for me):
1. Third-world governance with first-world prices. European taxes with American services.
2. Most neighborhoods are dead after work hours.
3. Dense central core is intolerable (14th-59th street especially). Where are the piazzas or squares with cafes?
4. Housing stock is terrible and overpriced (no central air, long, narrow units with bad lighting).
5. The few pleasant areas are packed with transients and have corporate vibes (West Village is the worst offender).
6. Incessant, tiring discourse around every issue (who is a New Yorker, gentrification, rent prices).
7. Too expensive and annoying to drive with terrible transit coverage in the outer boroughs.
8. Buses are meant to fill the massive subway gaps, but they are often slower than walking.
9. It's too loud. Alarms, sirens, construction, it's impossible to have a peaceful moment.
10. Terrible climate (ranked last because they can't control this).
Started reading “The Anti-AI Manifesto” which right out the gate is headed by the symbol for Communism from the videogame Disco Elysium, and starts off with a quote from a Star Wars TV show. Fab ✅
North Korea becomes an unexpected success story in the global economy.
With no one to rescue them in their time of need, North Korea had to fend for itself to escape economic sanctions.
North Korea is becoming one of the world's most incredible economic growth stories.
when all is said and done this is easily the one thing Heidecker has produced with any longevity; the parallels to modern AI are fascinating.
this is about the pinnacle of aesthetic sketch comedy. every element is perfect & not a second of it is out of place. + Rudd excels here
Each of these countries receive millions of dollars in “democracy promotion programs” from the National Endowment for Democracy, International Republican Institute, and National Democratic Institute.
In Bolivia, USAID was expelled in 2013 by the left-wing President Evo Morales.
The idea that the U.S. isn’t still dumping money into these countries to control their political systems, or that USAID was funding left-wing anti-imperialist candidates, is comically stupid.
This post just goes to show how geopolitically illiterate most American Conservatives really are.
