In Nigeria, entry-level roles often demand senior-level skills. you’re expected to have just a year of experience yet already know containers, orchestration, distributed systems, and advanced algorithms, just know everything.

There’s little willingness to train or grow talent. Meanwhile, many companies abroad focus on fundamentals and potential, then refine what you already know.

That’s why when Nigerian talents who are overlooked locally relocate, most get hired quickly. they already have the foundation, they just needed guidance and refinement.
