In fact it is illegal to reverse engineer most of the products we buy, in order to protect the techniques used by the corporations that made them. Yet it is legal for corporations to reverse engineer our work.

AI should be renamed to Mass General Reverse Engineering, because that's what it really is. It reverse engineers things talented humans have published and attempts to steal the techniques used. It does this without consent (a mockery of Fair Use).

@elonmusk @PPathole You're wrong. Never in history has a population declined to 0. The birth rates just plateaued. Your large corporations' infinite growth model can't cope with it, hence this narrative. Attempting to leverage "global resources" by destroying nations isn't it.
