@BussinBiotech @STL_Biotech Most acute SAH patients end up in ICU, intubated and unconscious. Any clinicians working in ICU understand how difficult to maintain therapeutic level of oral medications through an NG-tube. IV nimodipine makes a lot of sense for clinicians working in this field.

@BussinBiotech @STL_Biotech Nicardipine is not recommended for the prevention of vasospasm in SAH. Prevention of vasospam in SAH needs to walk a fine line between vasodilation and hypotension. Nicardipine tends to tilt it towards hypotension, which could lead to cerebral ischemia.

Tominersen study never reduced CSF nfl level below baseline. The primary reason for ASO failure is due to the fact that HD is primarily a disease of caudate nucleus. ASO may reduce mHTT overall, but not enough in the caudate.

@anish_koka With all due respect, 1) placebo effects can't last for more than 3 years, 2) CSF nfl level is an objective measure of neuronal death, and mean CSF nfl level was reduced by 11% at 24 months while natural history controls showed 26% increase over the same period (p=0.02).

Please check with your friends working in a MS clinic or an infusion center. Neurologists will choose a drug that has less side effects, higher efficacy, and better compliance.
